In the framework of work package 7 in the EU HEALTHY GATEWAYS Joint Action and using the deliverables produced under the EU SHIPSAN ACT Joint Action, a grading system has been developed for inspections of passenger ships conducted according to the European Manual for Hygiene Standards and Communicable Disease Surveillance on Passenger Ships v. April 2016, which you may find here: https://www.shipsan.eu/Home/EuropeanManual.aspx. This grading system was pilot-tested in 2018 and according to the work plan of the EU HEALTHY GATEWAYS Joint Action, in June 2019 the official implementation of grading system started. Since June 2019, the inspection results have been graded (A, B, C, D) and the list of grades per ship and date of inspection can be found in the following table.
