National training course and SHIPSAN Inspection Audits in Malta, 22-26 May 2023
The Ministry of Health in Malta in cooperation with the EU SHIPSAN scientific association organised an 1-week national training course for ship inspectors in accordance to the European Manual for Hygiene Inspections and Communicable Disease Surveillance on board passenger ships (https://www.shipsan.eu/Home/EuropeanManual.aspx).
Training methods included theoretical and hand-on learning by participating in hygiene inspections on board cruise ships.
