The EU SHIPSAN Scientific Association is pleased to announce the 2026 Online Training Courses for the shipping industry, designed to support high standards of public health, hygiene, and safety across the passenger shipping industry.
All courses will be based on the 3rd edition of the European Manual for Hygiene Standards and Communicable Disease Surveillance on Passenger Ships, ensuring that participants receive training aligned with the latest evidence-based public health guidance and best practices.
The 2026 course schedule includes:
- 11–14 May 2026 – Public Health Operations on Passenger Ships: Training on the management of public health events
- 26–29 May 2026 – Food Safety for the Passenger Shipping Industry
- 9–12 June 2026 – Health and Hygiene in Housekeeping Operations on Passenger Ships
- 23–26 June 2026 – Potable and Recreational Water Safety on Board Passenger Ships
These online courses are specifically designed for supervisors, managers, and ship crew, offering advanced and practical training tailored to the operational realities of passenger ships.
